Words with Laurie was started by Laurie Drukier in 2021.

Laurie has worked as a professional communicator for over 25 years and is an award-winning certified Strategic Communications Management Professional (SCMP) from the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC). She has written hundreds of strategies, policies, style guides, brand documents, brochures, media releases, feature stories, speeches and thousands and thousands of words for websites and social media.

Laurie has coached colleagues, and trained managers and direct reports in every professional role she’s held. She’s trained new staff and students on being better communicators and delivered lunch-and-learn sessions about language and writing.

Laurie is a voracious reader, daily writer and life-long learner. Words with Laurie is one way she keeps her skills fresh and shares what she knows.
